Vegetable-forward, seasonal cooking inspired by our urban garden.
I am professional chef and urban gardener. I started my cooking journey almost ten years ago when I received my Culinary Arts Degree in Hawaii at The Culinary Institute of the Pacific.
Since then, I have worked for prestigious chefs such as Alex Atala, Nobu and Thomas Keller. In 2018, I moved from Hawaii to NYC to work at Per Se NY, and I have been living here ever since.
I started my first garden during the 2020 and absolutely fell in love with it. As a professional chef, gardening increased my awareness about the way we eat and our current food system. I became more conscious about my food waste and decided to start teaching people how to cook more at home in a more efficient, less wasteful way. I currently work as a private chef in the New York City Metro Area, specializing in vegetable-forward seasonal cooking. I offer weekly meal prep services, as well as small parties and private events.
